As part of the sponsorship, students were invited to use a Resource Development Checklist to guide and support the creation of their infographics. Developed by CSI, this new tool offers practical guidance to help dietitians, trainees, and other health professionals design effective, high-quality infographics and fact sheets that communicate evidence-based nutrition messages in a visually-engaging, accessible, and impactful manner.
About the checklist:
- Developed in partnership with Dr. Tamara Cohen’s team at the University of British Columbia and with the support of Mitacs Canada. Stay tuned for the research publication!
- Grounded in the principles of the Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM) framework and supports best practices in accuracy, clarity, design, and audience engagement.
- Suitable for use by dietitians, other health professionals, and trainees.
