Rogers Sugar Inc. Reaches 4 Year Agreement with Alberta Sugar Beet Growers

Montréal, Canada - Rogers Sugar Inc. (the "Corporation") (TSX: RSI) is pleased to announce that Lantic Inc. ("Lantic"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Corporation has reached a four-year agreement with the Alberta Sugar Beet Growers Association. This new agreement will ensure the continuity and stability of beet sugar production in Taber over the next four years. A total of approximately 22,000 acres will be targeted for planting over the next few days which should derive, under normal growing conditions, approximately 80,000 metric tonnes of refined sugar.
